San Diego's finest dining
This Mobil
five-star restaurant — the only one with this title in
San Diego — is one of the hottest dinner tickets in town. In
fact, chef William Bradley's stellar Cal-French cuisine, which combines
artisan ingredients with classic techniques, nabbed the title of
Esquire magazine's "Best New Restaurants" when it opened.
While
you're here, be sure to enjoy a glass of wine from the restaurant's
2,500-bottle wine vault, which is nestled in a glass wall of the dining
room. Sommelier Jesse Rodriquez has curated a wonderful collection, which nabbed Food & Wine's "Best New Wine Lists."
The
menu, which changes seasonally, has included such mouth-watering
specialties as butter-baked salmon with savoy cabbage, or braised beef
short rib with horseradish creme and port wine. For dessert, the black
fig brulee with cinnamon creme chantilly is sinfully good.
