Get ready for an entirely new luxe getaway with the Adventureland Suite inside the Disneyland Hotel.
These posh new digs — which I previewed on Thursday night during the theme park's Soundsational Summer Celebration — are fit for an exotic getaway as only Disney can do it.
Located on the 11th floor of the hotel's Dreams Tower, the Adventureland Suite is one of several signature suites that also includes the Pirates of the Caribbean Suite, Mickey Mouse Penthouse, Fairy Tale Suite and Big Thunder Suite.
The adventure begins when you ring the doorbell, which serenades you to tunes from the famous Tiki Room attraction. In the living room, you'll find a lavish daybed with luxe tapestries, a roaring fireplace, and a faux library of antique books. All the while, vintage songs from the 1920s and 1930s set the scene.
Beautiful artwork adorns all of the walls, ranging from groupings of South American masks to illustrations of the Jungle Cruise and world maps. In the bathroom, an illuminated monkey reading a book offers a humorous touch.
The Adventureland Suite, at roughly 1,400 square feet, can sleep up to four guests. The daybed in the living room can provide additional sleeping quarters. The Master Bedroom is totally luxurious — offering a canopied bed with African-inspired quilts, a leather chair and ottoman, and a gorgeous carved elephant table. There's even a claw-foot soaking tub, ready for you to enjoy. Head inside the master bathroom, and you'll find a beautiful stone shower with ambient music and glowing lights.
The second bedroom is equally fun, mimicking an African safari tent, complete with canvas walls. Images of orangutans and elephants set the scene, along with geometric fabrics and two granite bowl sinks in the separate bath.
Stay tuned for my Adventureland Suite video, which will be posted next week!
Adventureland Suite rates range from $2,735 - $3,736 per night, depending on season/availability. If you can spare the cash, this is an experience not to be missed.
