Amboy Video - Roy's Cafe

In this episode of "California Travel Tips," we travel to the Mojave Desert town of Amboy, California, where we check out the historic Roy's Cafe, Motel and Gas. This historic Route 66 coffee shop is a huge draw for Europeans and Harley Davidson motorcyclists and is located near Amboy Crater in the Mojave Desert between Ludlow and Needles. To get there, exit Kelbaker Road and take a right on historic Route 66 California. The cafe is no longer in operation, but you can buy snacks and Route 66 Route Beer. The gas station sells gas at about $5 per gallon.
