Five Star Spa

One of California's greatest indulgences on a luxury vacation is enjoying a five star spa. Thankfully, we have plenty of five star spas to choose from, and three are in Orange County.

Forbes Travel Guide, previously Mobil Travel Guide, announced its 2011 five star hotel spa list. Tops in California were Spa Gaucin, St. Regis Monarch Beach; Spa Montage, Montage Laguna Beach and The Spa at the Resort at Pelican Hill.

Following is the complete list of five star spa hotels in California. Don't feel like you have to be a guest to take part. Many of these resorts open their doors to visitors, though you'll have to pay an entrance fee with a minimum charge for spa treatments.
