One of Disneyland's greatest holiday attractions is Haunted Mansion Holiday, which is given clever twists each year. As you travel through the ride's ballroom, pay close notice to the Scary-Go-Round on the dining table. The 6-foot tall Haunted Mansion Gingerbread House has been a staple since the ride opened in 2001 — created by a team of three Disney chefs. According to Disneyland, the gingerbread house takes an average of 3 1/2 weeks to build and is made with approximately 500 pounds of gingerbread, 50 pounds of royal icing and 60 pounds of fondant!
