Inn at the Presidio

The Inn at the Presidio, a stylish and modern, yet historic, 22-room inn located in San Francisco's historic Presidio will open its doors April 2012. This new San Francisco boutique hotel, housed in Pershing Hall (the former post’s bachelor officers’ quarters), will boast 17 suites, a dining room, guest lounge, and fire pit on the landscaped terrace.

Designated as a green hotel with LEED Gold aspirations, the Presidio hotel will pay homage to its historic past with an assortment of artifacts, photographs and memorabilia from the military outpost's archives.

Contemporary furniture and modern art gives this historic hotel an updated look. While you're here, you can explore the Presidio's military buildings, go hiking or biking on the park's 1,1491 acres, or walk to San Francisco's Marina District and Sacramento Street for a day of shopping, dining and bar hopping.

Other highlights on the property include a gym, indoor pool, golf course, bowling lanes, indoor rock-climbing studio, urban spa, trampoline park and fitness/Pilates/yoga studio. 

As one of the oldest military posts in the country, the Presidio was established by Spain in 1776. Today, it is a National Historic Landmark District. The Inn at the Presidio is a member of the Historic Hotels of America, a prestigious group of hotels that includes the majestic Hotel Del Coronado, Cavallo Point Lodge, Palace Hotel, Georgian Hotel and the Grand Colonial.
