Fillmore & Western Railway is home to Southern California's only murder mystery train rides. The winter celebration will include two murder mystery trains on Dec. 4 and Dec. 12, 2009 at $89 per person. Adults over 18 only.
On Dec. 4,"The Holiday" Fillmore murder mystery train will feature Christmas on the high seas, as Capt. Starbuck and his crew join in a holiday gathering. Just as you start to get away from all your troubles, meet the onboard celebrities, and party with Santa and his elves, a crew member is murdered. As the Captain continues his onboard antics, will he be able to save the day? Enjoy the general mirth, music and mayhem as suspects unveiled, exposed and undermined in this Christmas special. “It’s up to you, Santa and his elves to keep the Christmas spirit alive, because death never takes “A Holiday."
On Dec. 12, celebrate the “Xmas Bugle Boy Murders of Co. C” murder mystery train ride. It is 1942 and “Big Band” leader Johnny Fontaine is en route to his next USO Christmas show. He is broadcasting by radio and selling War Bonds as he returns to Hollywood during the holiday season with his celebrities in tow. A special contest is about to be unveiled when mystery & intrigue takes this train to its next pit stop at murder. Get out your old uniforms or period costumes and participate in the fun.
