Fly the west coast in style aboard the new private airliner, SurfAir.
Tired of crowded airlines, long security lines, fewer peanuts and no leg room? Now you can travel the west coast in style aboard Surf Air, a new first class travel service that departs to/from Los Angeles to select cities in California.
Founded by Wade Eyerly (a former intelligence officer with the Department of Defense) and his brother David (former manager of Frontier Airlines at Dallas-Fort Worth airport), SurfAir is a membership-based service that aims to be the "Netflix" of air travel.
Perks aboard SurfAir's fleet of Swiss-made Pilatus PC-12NG planes include immediate access to aircrafts, first class concierge services, on-board delicacies and plane valet service. The interior is furnished with leather seats and ample legroom.
SurfAir launches this summer with service between Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Monterey and Palo Alto. Flights will later expand to Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Sonoma/Napa, San Diego and Palm Springs (among others).
The service will include several membership levels starting at $1,000 per month. It includes access to SurfAir's flight scheduling smart phone app and the ability to get unlimited guest passes for family and clients. A maximum of eight passengers can fly on each plane. An added service? Flights can be canceled without incurring fees.
