One of the best body-surfing spots in the world, the Newport
Wedge is located on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach California.
The
Wedge Newport Beach is not for beginners. Waves here can reach monster
sizes of around 7 to 20 feet, especially when a storm is brewing.
For
spectators, the Newport Beach Wedge is a photographer's dream. Get here
early to catch daring young men surfing, skimboarding, body surfing and
boogie boarding on these incredibly powerful waves, which crash down
with a vengeance.
Newport Wedge surf conditions vary day by day, so check for the latest surf reports at Surfline.com, magicseaweed.com or
