INTERACTIVE COMMENTARY AND REVIEWS!
Have a tip or secret you want to share about Disneyland? How about a restaurant or hotel review? At the bottom of each entry, you'll find a comments section. Feel free to ask questions there, or share tips and reviews with other Disney fans.
The filters at the top left area of this app include sortable entries based on theme parks, hotels, dining, shopping and individual park areas. Subsequent versions of this app will include a What's New filter to clue you in on new entries and changes at the park.
In addition to the preview photo included with each entry, there is an entire photo gallery waiting for you! Just click on the photo for each entry, and then start swiping to the left.
We include the latest average prices of hotel rooms and restaurants. You can sort restaurants by price to find the most reasonable dining — or expensive dining — in the resort. If prices have changed, just let us know in the comments below, or that entry, and we'll fix it for the next update.
At the top of the A-Z list you'll find a small magnifying glass. When you click this, a search bar will come up allowing you to look for anything you need.
Click the "favorite" button on the bottom of each entry to create a customized itinerary for visiting the Disneyland Resort. Next time you log into the app, click on the favorites filter and your entries will be waiting for you!
Every ride and show in this app has a YouTube link where you can enjoy a virtual ride-through experience from the comfort of your own home. We hope you enjoy this feature! If you think there's a better video available that showcases this attraction, just let us know. In each case, we try to get the latest and best quality HD videos.
We have included maps with the Disneyland Park, California Adventure, Downtown Disney and Disneyland Resort hotel entries. If you click on the map, you will be given customized driving directions from your device. Offline park maps are also included. Be sure to download them with a WiFi connection before heading into the park — especially if you have an iPod Touch.
Disneyland Resort is constantly changing with ride closures and openings, seasonal hour modifications, and more. Always consult the park's daily schedule, available online or at the entrance, for the latest showtimes and character appearances. The hours posted in this app may change without notice.
Each restaurant entry includes both online and offline links to current menus. Feel free to share your own Disneyland restaurant reviews in the comments section of that entry.
Entries with phone numbers at the bottom can be called with the touch of your finger. Please note that most shops and restaurants inside the park do not have individual contact numbers.
HEY, WHERE ARE THE WAIT TIMES?
The Disneyland Essential Guide is just that — a comprehensive digital guidebook. For wait times, I recommend the free apps MouseWait or Mobile Magic (the official Disneyland app).
