In 2011, the world-famous Disneyland Hotel debuted a gorgeous new pool, complete with a Monorail-themed waterslide for the kids and four luxury cabanas for mom and dad.
After a full day touring Disneyland, this is a great place to unwind. You can relax by the outdoor fireplace, grab a drink at Tangaroa Terrace, or enjoy some live Hawaiian music at Trader Sam's. On opening weekend, we spotted a couple of mermaids swimming in the pool.
For a unique overnight, book a room in the Dreams Tower. The 11th floor is home to the resort's hippest penthouses and signature suites — perfect for special occasions.
Kids at heart are sure to love the Mickey Mouse Penthouse with its whimsical rooms and mirrored television set, while young buccaneers will have a swashbuckling good time in the Pirates of the Caribbean Suite.
The Old West is represented in the elegant Big Thunder Suite — complete with a sleek petrified wood bar and a gorgeous copper tub in the master bathroom. But my all-time favorite has to be the Adventureland Suite, which pays tribute to voyagers from the 1930s.
As a guest of the Disneyland Hotel, you'll enjoy access to Magic Mornings, which allows admission one hour before the park officially opens!
